Neal Fernandes is a Senior at Lambert High School and has been an active HOSA member for 7 years. He is honored and excited to be serving as Georgia HOSA’s 2024-2025 State President! Among the countless aspects that captivate Neal within HOSA, the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with healthcare-oriented individuals from across the globe holds a special place. For him, HOSA provides an unparalleled opportunity to foster the next generation of health professionals while making valuable memories and friendships along the way. Utilizing the skills he has cultivated through his dedicated time in HOSA, Neal plans to pursue a career in neuroscience. Outside of HOSA, Neal is a medical intern and student researcher. In his free time, you can find Neal watching football or basketball, listening to music, and trying new sushi rolls. He looks forward to an exciting and eventful HOSA year!
Gianna White- president- elect

Gianna White is encapsulated by each and every member of Georgia HOSA. Their passion, drive and resilience leads her to so passionately serve as Georgia HOSA’s 2024-2025 President Elect. She currently is a junior at A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering magnet school and has utilized the surplus of experiences given to henceforth pursue a career as a Neonatal physician. She has served Georgia HOSA as a member since her 9th grade year, and ever since has wished to be immersed in its prosperities. With every approach to life, Gianna feels that understanding is what will ultimately build a greater Georgia HOSA while simultaneously cultivating a greater world for each and every citizen, regardless of their background. She looks forward to shaking the hands of every member that greets her, and can’t wait to see what Georgia HOSA manages to accomplish this year!

Shriya Kunam is immensely honored and excited to be serving as Georgia HOSA's 2024-2025 Vice President of Officer Relations. As a senior at Denmark High School, Shriya has been an active member of HOSA for over 5 years. Within this organization, Shriya has found great fulfillment in connecting with like-minded individuals passionate about healthcare. Driven by her experiences in HOSA, Shriya loves to work with children and aspires to dedicate her future to pediatric oncology. As a leader, Shriya believes in "striving for progress, not perfection," embodying a commitment to continual learning and development. Apart from being a state officer, you can find Shriya spending time with friends and family, engaging in community service, or diving into a good book. Shriya eagerly anticipates the year ahead and cannot wait to make a meaningful impact within Georgia HOSA!

Avni Marya is a Senior at Innovation Academy and has been a member of HOSA since her freshman year. She is honored to serve as your 2024-2045 Vice President of Membership! She plans to pursue a career in pediatric dermatology. Aside from HOSA, she remains connected to the healthcare world and pursues her interests through various internships and research. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating, good music, and reading. She cannot wait to meet the members of Georgia HOSA and have an amazing year!
Rashi Patel- Vice President of Innovation

Rashi Patel is a senior at Northview High School who has found a sense of purpose within HOSA since 9th grade. She is beyond grateful to be Georgia HOSA’s 2024-2025 VP of Innovation! Through HOSA, Rashi has found a pathway to explore her passions and discover new opportunities in medicine. From volunteering at hospitals and experiencing new environments, she is passionate about neuroscience and psychology and hopes to pursue a career in psychiatry or pharmacology. Outside of school and HOSA, Rashi enjoys playing the cello, diving into a new book, and spending time with her family. She strives to be a resource and is eager to contribute to the growth and success of Georgia HOSA and its members!
